Just a note to show appreciation to the special stepping stones in my life:

I am a firm believer in remembering where you came from and those who helped you get to where you are today.  There are many who I have been blessed by crossing their paths whether online or out and about town.  Their faith and belief in me will never go unnoticed or forgotten.  First and foremost, I thank God for blessing me with my eyes and vision.  Without those, I would be nothing.  My husband Lance falls in a close second place because he has always believed in me and given me the means, freedom, and breathing room to blossom.  I love him and can almost guarantee that not many hubbys would be so gracious.  I thank my mom and Susie for truly being my biggest fans.  I can always count on them to give my ego a swift kick in the arse whenever I’m in doubt. Special thanks go to my techy partner in crime Brian who helps me keep it real and up to date. In addition, thank you to Ben Lourie and George Bedell for being the most hard nosed instructors at CSM. You two really helped me hone my skills and I will forever be grateful to you both for your direction, never candy coated critique, and my new found addiction the pungent aroma of stop bath.

The threshold of all my work was a little bar called Apehanger’s in Be Alton, Maryland.  I happened upon a hair metal cover band named Alive-n-Kickin’.   They quickly became friends and treated me like family.  I could never forget them for the window of opportunity they opened for me.  I was a fan that took pictures with a little Kodak digital and I have grown into what I am today from that experience.  Thank you Alive-n-Kickin', band-aids and members past and present, for opening a window that I didn’t know needed to be opened.  Thank you to SilverTung for giving me my first paying gig as their staff photographer and to Absinthe for being the first to hire me when I went out on my own.  You guys truly rock and will always have permanent residence in a special corner in my heart.  There are countless bands that have been my guinea pigs along the way and I thank them for allowing me to get in their faces in order to grow as an artist and build my portfolio.  I will link a few here.

Without these special stepping stones in my path, I would never have been able to climb to the growth I appreciate today.  Thank you for helping me to be the photographer I am today.  To say you we instrumental would be a gross understatement.  You all kick much arse!

Here are just some of the bands who let me get in their faces:

Thank you so much guys!
